Seriously can’t wait for this… Turrican was one of the first platformers I ever dug into, and the first game I can remember that provided an epic, memorable, high-speed soundtrack that set the pace for the gameplay and its story. (also, hey, I was a kid then :)
Chris Huelsbeck began a Kickstarter back in April to help fund the creation of a special limited edition Anthology of Turrican game music (now with 3 days remaining). For me, it was only the first Turrican I really played through back on the Amiga, but the feelings and memories arising just from remembering the game levels and the final scene, with the musical accompaniment - ahhhhhh… :)
Classic gaming goodness! If you’re so inclined, head on over, check out the kickstarter project, and pitch in :) He’s already funded, but is adding to the tier perks, and there are some nice collectible items there.
